
It is a M113 APC. Basically the workhorse of US Mech Infantry units from the mid 1960's to the late 1980's. It has since been replaced by the Bradley but is still in service in various nations throughout the world.
Before I do anything, I like to check the scale of my vehicle in relation to a Ghost Recon Character. John Sonedecker has released some tools for Map making and this scale guy comes in real handy here.

As you can see my track is a little small compared to the Scale Guy. This is easily fixed by using the Select and Uniform Scale Tool. I just select all of my mesh minus the scale guy then use this tool alternating between this and the Move tool to get it right.

Looks much better now that it isn't so tiny. Now I can go ahead and delete the Scale Guy since I am done with him. Go into any side view and adjust the vehicle so that its bottom most mesh is flush with the 0 point on the grid lines. Once you are ready, click on the Tracks button to continue.
