Waterborne Vehicle

Here is a picture of the vehicle that I will demonstrate tagging on:

It is a LCVP. Used by the Americans during World War 2 during amphibious invasions .

Before I do anything, I like to check the scale of my vehicle in relation to a Ghost Recon Character. John Sonedecker has released some tools for Map making and this scale guy comes in real handy here.

Here is a shot of the guy in max:

As you can see my amphibian is just about the correct size compared to the Scale Guy. I am going to leave this mesh as it is. Go into any side view and adjust the vehicle so that its bottom most mesh is just below the 0 point on the grid lines. Boats have a water line and the mesh should sit below the waterline. Once you are ready, click on the Crew button to continue.
