Kit Editor

The kit editor is used to create and modify existing kits. It is separated into two slots, 1 & 2. Slot 1 is for the primary weapon and Slot 2 is for the secondary weapon. Custom kits have a default save to the active mod's equip folder. This is where I keep all of the enemy kits. It is advised that when you create these for player actors that you navigate to the actor's respective class folder. (Hero, rifleman, support, demolitions, sniper, or MP) The engine can find them, but when you have the kit path set in the actor editor it is looking for a specific kit to load. To Load a specific actor kit, you will have to navigate back to the Kit folder after clicking on the Load button.

NOTE: If you desired to have extra magazines in your secondary slot, I have not found a way to do it in IGOR. You will have to edit the file using notepad and saving it with a .kit suffix.

Browse:
Click on the Browse button within the slot that you wish to add or modify. It will open the Item Selection Editor.

Simply select the item that you wish to add to the kit slot and click Okay. If you change your mind, click Cancel.

Magazine Count:
Click on the arrows to the right of the field that displays the Magazine count to increase or decrease the number of magazines for that slot.

Clear:
Click on this button to clear your modifications and to start over.

Hint: A shortcut if you are creating multiple kits with the same primary or secondary weapon. Example: Save your first kit, retain slot 1, clear slot 2 and make your adjustments then save it again with a new name.

Load, Save, & Close:
These buttons do exactly as they say. Be sure to watch your Save path to make sure its going where you want it to.
